Fred

We have a number of squirrels and birds in our backyard, but one squirrel has become a regular and pretty docile so the Bean and I named him Fred. I really have no idea of Fred is really a boy, but the name works. The Bean knows how to sign squirrel and he always asks about Fred when he isn't in the yard. If I don't feed Fred regularly enough, he appears on my back porch at my back door. The Bean loves watching him and amazingly his excited voice doesn't scare Fred away. Nice to have animal entertainment so close!!

Predictable

We met some friends at a park today. It was near the lake so we took the boys to the water when we were done playing. The Bean didn't surprise me when he ended up in the water. It may be sunny but it's only mid 60s today and the water was in the shade. He had fun till he it cold. Silly boy!

Selfie

The Bean needs a little work learning exactly how to frame seflies. Here are some samples, as well as screenshots I took of the photoroll on my phone. In a few minute period when he had a hold of my phone while I finished something, he manged to take over 100 photos! He even managed to make some color enhancement changes. Thank goodness for digital!

Mud Puddle Fun

This was a few months ago, when the weather wasn't nearly as warm. The Bean and his girlfriend had just finished a playdate and we were all walking to our cars. She is a huge water fan just like he is, and this happened.

The fun started before this video and continued for quite a while after. Both kiddos ended up riding home in just a diaper they were so muddy. We got everything from approval and excitement to much disapproval by passerby's. The kiddos thought it was way more fun than the playdate we just had!

Schedule

I just discovered that Blogger has a nifty schedule feature. So I can write multiple posts at once and set them to publish on a set day/time. So for at least the next few days (hopefully longer, assuming I get time to get more written), you will get a post a day. Enjoy!

Shopping cart

He has a little shopping cart that he usually puts stuff in and pushes it around the house. A few nights ago, he decided he needed in it. And again this morning. If only he'd sit in the ones at the store!!
