Easter April 2014

This year was really the first time that the Bean was old enough to participate in Easter Egg hunts. The Saturday before Easter, he and I headed out to two around us. The first was hosted by a nearby city and held in a baseball field. The kids were divided by ages, and our course parents helped in our age group. He didn't quite get what was going on, as he was more distracted by all the other kids and commotion. Each egg had a small candy in it, which he was totally into once he figured it out.

Waiting for it to start

Next we headed to an event at the Nile Golf Course hosted by the Shriners. This was way more fun. They had Mr. and Mrs. Easter bunny available for photos (we were way to shy), the Shriner  clowns and their cool cars, and the egg hunting areas were more accessible. Here, there was nothing in the eggs, you turned them in for a chocolate bunny at the end.

Waiting!

So excited

I think next year, he'll have even more fun! We will certainly go back to the Nile Golf Course!
