After we browsed all the coolers and got lots of goodies to restock our freezer, the Bean and I ended up chatting with one of the butchers. He has a daughter who just turned a year old. He asked if The Bean had tried a beef stick yet and that they were great for teething. We hasn't tried one yet, so the butcher got one and gave it to the Bean. Once he figured out it went in his mouth, he was thrilled! It's kinda a hybrid between jerky and a pepperoni stick, but it isn't spicy. Clearly this will have to be added to our shopping list next time we come!
